“Rhim-Jhim Rhim- Jhim barsa........ Rhim-Jhim paani barsa”
The sound of pitter- patter rain drops filled the Joeys campus with loads of happiness. Children enjoyed ‘Monsoon Party’ with full on excitement and enthusiasm. The entire school campus transformed into a dynamic space with colourful decoration. Monsoon was celebrated as vibrant colours of rainbow in Pre K as “Rainbow Party” and other sections as “Monsoon Party”.
The whole atmosphere was filled with giggles and zeal, as children played in the puddles, created cherishable memories. The day was filled with a series of engaging activities designed to spark curiosity and joy. The day’s highlight was the paper boat adventure. With gleeful anticipation, the children launched their colourful boats into the makeshift pools, their voices rising in cheerful songs like "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" and "Naav Chali." The sight of their boats gently floating away brought immense joy, making this whimsical activity a standout moment of their day.
No monsoon party would be complete without indulging into some delicious monsoon treats. Children relished a spread of their favourite homemade snacks like crispy bhajiyas, and roasted corn. Monsoon delights perfectly complemented the rainy weather. The aroma of these tasty treats filled the air, making the celebration even more special and created a cosy, comforting atmosphere. It was a heart-warming celebration that brought entire school community together in a spirit of camaraderie and joy.
